The Matteo Goffriller Youth Symphony Orchestra from South Tyrol currently consists of 65 enthusiastic young musicians from three language groups, primarily from South Tyrol, but also from neighboring Trentino. The orchestra has been under the direction of Stephen Lloyd and his wife Irene Troi since 1997. Through numerous concert tours both at home and abroad, the Youth Symphony Orchestra has earned a reputation and has become a guarantor of exceptional concert experiences. In recent years, the orchestra has received repeated invitations to prestigious concert performances, such as at the Palazzo Ducale in Urbino, at the Mantova Chamber Music Festival "TRAME SONORE," and at the "NIKOLAUS HARNONCOURT DAYS" in Attergau, Upper Austria.
